A secluded site in the heart of Cannock Chase Country Park situated midway between Stafford, Lichfield, Rugeley, Hednesford and Cannock.

Easy access onto the Chase cycle tracks, Go Ape and FC concerts in the forest, two visitor centres at Forestry Commission, Birches Valley and Staffs County Council, Marquis Drive which was RAF Hednesford in a previous lifel Shugborough Estate (National Trust) is a good stretch of the legs or short drive away.

The Chase is steeped in history and the site is situated on part of the Rugeley Camp during the Great War within walking distance of the old RAF and Army camps and military cemeteries. There is an also extensive mining history of The Cannock Chase coalfield and the Marquis of Anglesey Estate at Beaudesert Hall.

Ideal for day trips to National Memorial Arboretum, Alton Towers, Drayton Manor, Cosford RAF Museum, Monkey World and Trentham Gardens.
